Artwork files can be supplied as either Indesign or Xpress (all versions) together with supporting graphic/picture files and fonts.
Colour scans must be CMYK and for black and white advertisements, scans must be Grayscale. The resolution of image files should be at least 200dpi.
Where possible fonts should be Postscript Type 1. Files containing Truetype or Open Type fonts should have the fonts outlined. Bitmap fonts are not accepted by any publications and will result in incorrect artwork being printed.
We accept PDF files, but they must be prepared to Pass4Press or PDF X1/A standards and incorporate the guidelines detailed above for images and fonts.
